The Finance Analyst will provide:
strategic analysis of financial and business data to guide leadership in strategic and management decision-making. They will support the organization in achieving greater efficiencies through deeper analysis and understanding of organizational cost trends and projections, cost structure, cost ratios, cost recovery, and spending rates/patterns across the organization. Through this analysis, they will help leadership understand the ongoing viability of the organization at both the Country and program area levels. The Finance Analyst will also support the Country Finance Manager in general financial analysis and planning and ensure timely financial reporting tailored to meet management needs for improved decision-making.
The position involves overseeing:
The Finance Analyst oversees financial and business analysis, financial planning, and the implementation of controls and procedures. They identify financial risks, recommend improvements, and support the Country Finance Manager in decision-making and reporting. The role also involves supporting emergency response.
To succeed in this role, you must:
you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting, along with a professional financial/accounting qualification. You should possess at least 5 years of accounting and finance experience, including 2 years in financial analysis. Knowledge of financial management issues, International Financial Reporting Standards, and risk management techniques is essential. Strong financial analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, effective time management, and excellent communication skills in English are required.
