CHILD SAFEGUARDING:
Level 3: the post holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff.
ROLE PURPOSE:
Under the direct supervision of the area manager role is to understand the whole supply chain process in SCIS, so he/she can effectively work and coordinate with all supply chain functions for the offices in Darfur state by working towards the ensuring the right products are delivered to the right location on time and at a good cost. He/she will be responsible in stock controls, warehousing, fleet, transportation (staff and goods), and monitoring of the flow of goods. And assisting the procurement function in liaising with suppliers of raw material, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.
In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.
Duties and responsibilities:
Procurement and Facilities Tasks with direct coordination with the existing Humanitarian Supply Chain Coordinator and under the Head of Implementation Manager supervision:
Ability to work within Humanitarian context.
Knowledgeable of humanitarian procurements procedures.
Ensure timely purchases to match the humanitarian needs.
Ensure all procurement for humanitarian responses in line with SCI procurement policies.
Assist & follow up the with procurement process to ensure availability of all claims supporting receipt documents as to be paid within the SCI payment terms

Warehousing Management with direct coordination with the existing Supply Chain Coordinator and under the Head of Implementation Manager super vision:
Stores Management: Responsible of Stores/warehouses supervision (all stores in Darfur states), including maintaining proper store records, proper stacking, proper ventilation, proper safety, and security measures, etc.
Consignee: serve as consignee responsible for the physical receipt/count of all equipment/goods, received from suppliers and/or sent from Office to Field for maintenance or any other purpose and responsible to dispatch them after maintenance.
Good Receipt Note (GRN): Responsible of the preparation of Good & supplies receipts notes.
Dispatch and transportation of goods & supplies: Perform the tasks for transportation for all purchased/acquired Goods & supplies. Responsible for preparation of the required detailed waybills. Follow up the loading processes and the communications with transporters and the point of delivery, until the receipt of GRN and/or authenticated waybill(s).
Reporting: responsible for reporting on stock status and consumption tracking of all goods, supplies, and items in the entire store in Darfur state.
Stock replenishment: maintain records of the desired minimum & maximum level as per Agency standards. Follow up on the process of replenishment of stocks of all items in the store.
Gate Pass: prepare gate pass to be approved for all items leaving the Office premise and ensure adherence by all.
TIM: Attain TIM training and further work on data provision for TIM warehouse Report.
Fleet Management:
Under the direct supervision of the Fleet Manager to.
Ensure vehicles hired by humanitarian projects have agreements and payment made as agreed and on time.
Coordinate with the Fleet focal person to ensure availability of Fleet in the required time.
Staff, Performance Management & Capacity Building
When applicable to: –
Lead, supervise and motivate direct reports, ensure they have clear objectives and receive meaningful feedback on their performance regularly (in line with Save the Children performance management procedures).
Create and maintain a cooperative, collaborative, and positive working environment where staff have clear roles and responsibilities, participate in decision making and are supported in progressing towards their objectives.
Lead on capacity building of direct line reports through coaching, mentoring, and training.
Child Safeguarding
Act as an ambassador for child safeguarding in both professional and personal life. Never abuse position of trust and authority.

Behave towards children in a way, which reflects the Code of Conduct, CSG Code of Conduct and Child Safeguarding Policy.
Report any CSG issues or concerns in a timely way according to the Country reporting system and procedures. (At least two reports per year). Ask if unclear on anything to do with child safeguarding, such as which concerns should be reported, how to report concerns and how to respond to them.
Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in administrative sciences.
1 to 2 years, proven experience in administrating Supply Chain functions: – Warehousing, Fleet, Procurement and Asset Management,
Good command in and ability to understand Supply Chain issues.
