Currently, in the Middle East, we are seeking a Design Manager (Fitout) for an ongoing High Rise Project in Qatar.

Your new role, what’s involved?

• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders within the client.
• Manage the development of initial asset requirements and efforts of various consultancies engaged in designing assets and necessary infrastructure.
• Lead the coordination of consultant designs.
• Ensure correct evolution of designs and timely provision of required information for construction.
• Monitor design progress, ensuring client aspirations are met.
• Responsible for adhering to all design protocols and providing necessary information.

Requirements:
We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• Professional Architect/PE registration.
• Preferably over 20 years of experience in designing/construction of large building projects, including at least 10 years in a similar role within project management, construction, or consulting companies in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design management, reasonable knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, interior design, and structural design.
• Good knowledge of value engineering management.
• Accurate knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
• Proven ability to perform key management and coordination roles.
• Responsible for reviewing crucial milestone deliverables related to construction/design quality.
